Berry's Pomerol Chateau Feytit-Clinet 2009 from Berry Brothers and Rudd, an established wine merchant in London, with pedigree and history. This Pomerol is their own label made by the Château Feytit-Clinet and is a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. It is a deep ruby with purple hints at the rim, the spicy red and black fruits jump from the glass together with chocolate and leather swirled with vanilla. On the palate the red and black cherry fruit along with smokey spices are complimented by the pithy edge, the acidity keeps the fruit bang on, and the tannins are ripe but textural - a great wine with lovely fruity end, and has many years left in its bottle!Score : 87
